Simplicity & Renunciation: Making Manifest the Unseen

Western Buddhist monks and nuns (members of celibate orders) are invited to participate in this annual gathering of sharing experiences and making friendships across all schools of Buddhism. Each year, we have a theme to help pull the discussion together. This year's theme will touch on both the mental and physical aspects of simplicity in lifestyle and the meaning of renunciation.

This conference is for people who are from a Western background, regardless of race. (We are not able to sponsor visas for foreign visitors.) Your only cost will be transportation to the site. Accommodation and meals are being offered by the host center, Land of Medicine Buddha.
